InterCasino, KK in tournies

For the 2nd month in a row, InterCasino was very good for me. Finished the WR +$250. I love this monthly bonus. 100% up to $90 WR= $90 * 25 = $2250 They implemented a bonus tracker last month, so now I can see exactly how far I am off of the wr. Even played a little Bejeweled this month, which can't be +$EV! :)

For the 4th time in the past 5 tournies, I have gone out or been severly crippled with KK. I've been playing it aggressively preflop, but never seems to holdup. By calling and then pushing postflop without an A, I'm pretty sure I may have taken down a couple of these, but I still don't think thats the right move. Gonna stick with my Allin and pray I don't run into As. This might change if I'm on the bubble.

Doubt there will be much poker playing this long weekend, turkey time. Some juicy freerolls though I might be missing, Empire $10k, Bet365 $30k, Hollywood BPT free entry makeup.

Just calling with kings, hoping an ace won't flop is a very weak play. Every flush draw, straight draw and made two pair is going to destroy you. Raise enough to get out naked aces and other limp-lovers, but not so much that you can't lay it down if an ace flops.

I agree. Tried to get some discussion in the pso forums, wondering if somebody could convince me that calling would be a better play. Didn't hear any convincing evidence, so I'll stick to what I've been doing. Hope my luck with KK changes.
